The trucks were severely damaged by the huge fire. Several emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene, and six fire department workers doused the fires.
According to the information obtained by Tasnim, the fire started in the front part of 6 trucks and it was a possiblity to reach the fuel tanks.
At the time when the firefighters were extinguishing the flames, the exposed containers were transferred to a safer area while the fire in trucks was suppressed to prevent explosions and the spread of fire to other trucks.
Police and fire department have opened an investigation to look into the circumstances and causes of the incident.
