2022 Asian Games: Iran’s Para Canoeist Jahedi Takes Gold


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian para canoeist Eslam Jahedi won a gold medal in the 2022 Asian Para Games on Tuesday.

He won the gold medal with a time of 55.749 seconds in the Men's VL2 Final.

Santi Wantawee of Thailand seized the silver with 1:00.020 and the bronze medal went to Gajendra Singh from India with 1:01.084 seconds.

As the Asian Para Games returns to China for the second time following Guangzhou in 2010, nearly 3,100 athletes from 44 countries and regions are taking part across 22 sports and 564 events at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games, which runs through Oct 28.
