Iran Discovers Rivals at 2024 Asian Men's Handball Championship


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran learned its opponents at the 2024 Asian Men's Handball Championship.

Iran is pitted against South Korea, China, and New Zealand in Group B.

Group A consists of Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Chinese Taipei.

Saudi Arabia, Iraq, India, and Japan are in Group C and host Bahrain, the UAE, Hong Kong, and Kazakhstan are in Group D.

The 2024 Asian Men's Handball Championship will be the 21st edition of the championship scheduled to be held from January 11 to 25, 2024 in Bahrain, under the aegis of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF).

It will be the third time in history that the championship will be organized by the Bahrain Handball Federation. It also acts as a qualification tournament for the 2025 World Men's Handball Championship and the top four teams will qualify for the event.
