Iran Exporting Technical-Engineering Services Overseas in Water, Wastewater Sector


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The spokesperson for Iran’s water industry said the country is exporting technical and engineering services in the water and wastewater sectors.

Speaking at the 19th Iran International Water Industry Exhibition on Wednesday, Firouz Qassemzadeh said the country has gained good achievements in the field of constructing equipment needed in the water and wastewater sector.

During his visit to the exhibition, he was briefed on the latest achievements of water companies in promoting the culture of water consumption management.

Turning to the achievements showcased at Water and Renewable Energy Industry Exhibition, Qassemzadeh stated that the private sector of the country, by constructing advanced equipment in the water and wastewater sector, has paved the way for the accurate management of water consumption in the country.

He went on to say that the Ministry of Energy has thrown its weight behind some of the competent knowledge-based companies and eye-catching achievements have been gained in this industry, IRNA reported. 

The exhibition has provided a good platform for introducing the latest achievements of knowledge-based companies as well as scientific-technical synergy of the companies in this field, the spokesperson added.

Relying upon their technical know-how and knowledge, the domestic engineers have managed to export high-quality equipment in the water sector overseas, he added.
