Iran’s Isfahan Exports over $1 Billion Non-Oil Goods in 11 Months: Official


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Over $1.32 billion of non-oil products were exported abroad from the customs of Iran’s Isfahan province in the 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2023), an official said.

Rasoul Kouhestani-Pajouh, the director general of the customs offices of Isfahan province, said the customs offices of Isfahan province exported 2.115 million tons of non-oil goods, valued at $1.322 billion, to 92 countries from March 21, 2023, to February 22, 2024, Mehr news agency reported. 

In this period, 759 types of products were exported overseas from this province, including cast iron, steel, oil and petrochemical products, machine- and handwoven carpets, dairy products, and copper, he added.

Kouhestani-Pajouh noted that 82 percent of total non-oil products were exported from the customs offices of this province to five countries, namely Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in the 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year.
