Israeli Forces Arrest 23 Palestinians in Overnight Raids across West Bank's Hebron

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli forces conducted extensive raids in the Hebron (Al-Khalil) Governorate of the occupied West Bank, resulting in the arrest of at least 23 Palestinians.

The majority of those detained, around 20 individuals, were taken from the town of Dura.

In addition to the operations in Hebron, Israeli forces carried out raids in other locations across the occupied West Bank overnight. Footage captured Israeli bulldozers moving through the streets of Tulkarem during one such operation.

Further exacerbating tensions, Israeli forces reportedly raided the Bab al-Rahma prayer hall within the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem al-Quds. Witnesses said that worshippers were subjected to beatings during the raid, with two individuals subsequently arrested.

Tensions have been escalating at the site, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, as Israeli authorities continue to restrict access to the mosque for the vast majority of Palestinians residing in the occupied West Bank.
