Hostile Objects in Iran’s Sky Doomed to Get Hit: General

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Any suspicious flying object daring to intrude into the Iranian airspace will suffer the same fate as what was shot down by the air defense units in Isfahan on Friday morning, the Iranian Army Ground Force commander warned.

Addressing Muslim worshippers at the Friday prayers of Tehran on April 19, Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari praised the Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base –the central headquarters of Iran's Air Defense– for protecting the country’s airspace.

Pointing to a number of aerial objects that were hit by the air defense systems in Iran’s central city of Isfahan on Friday morning, the general said if any suspicious flying object dares to appear in Iran’s sky, it won’t stand a chance of evading the powerful wave of the Iranian air defense.

In recent days, the Zionist regime has ratcheted up the rhetoric of military action against Iran after Tehran carried out a retaliatory operation against the Israeli military targets inside the occupied territories in response to a fatal airstrike that Israel launched on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus on April 1.
