Israeli Regime Shells Gaza, Detonates Homes despite Ceasefire

Israeli aircraft hit several locations in Rafah, and naval units fired shells toward the city’s coastline, according to local sources and witnesses.
Military vehicles positioned near the Morag Axis, northeast of Rafah, carried out sweeping operations accompanied by sustained gunfire.
Artillery units shelled eastern Khan Younis, while helicopters fired on buildings during ongoing home demolitions, witnesses said.
An airstrike also targeted the area east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in Deir al-Balah, an Anadolu correspondent reported.
In northern Gaza, Israeli strikes hit eastern Gaza City, and helicopters directed heavy fire toward eastern Jabalia.
No immediate casualty reports were available.
Local authorities said Israel continues to disregard the ceasefire agreement it signed with Hamas, slamming the Israeli regime for nearly 500 violations and the killing of 354 Palestinians since Oct. 10.
According to Gaza government figures, more than 70,000 people — mostly women and children — have been killed since October 2023, with another 171,000 injured, as the Israeli genocidal campaign leaves large parts of the enclave in ruins.
