Pakistan Beats Iran in Kabaddi World Cup Semis

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Pakistan defeated Iran in the semifinal stage of 2014 Kabaddi World Cup on Thursday.

In the match held at the Shaheed Bachan Singh Kabaddi Stadium in Punjab, the Pakistani team scored 88 points while Iran scored only 56 point.

Elsewhere, India beat England 54-33 and advanced to the final match.

Iran will play England in the bronze medal match on Friday and host India face Pakistan in the final match one day later.

The Iranian team had already defeated US (40-39), Australia (59-29), Spain (54-27) and lost to India (53-39) in Pool A.
