Iran’s Saman Pakbaz Claims Gold in Fazza International Athletics
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Saman Pakbaz from Iran took a gold medal at the seventh edition of Fazza International Athletics Competition - 2015 IPC Athletics Grand Prix on Wednesday.
The Iranian athlete claimed the gold medal at the men’s shot put F/12 event.
Furthermore, Pakbaz clinched the silver medal of Discus F11/12/35.
Iran’s Seyed Mohsen Hosseini Panah had already won a gold medal in Discus F11/12/35 event.
The Fazza International Athletics - IPC Grand Prix Dubai served as a qualification event for the IPC World Cup which will be held in Doha, Qatar this year and the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2016.
The event brought a total of 490 athletes from 48 countries together.
