Iran to Play Tajikistan in U-15 Football Exchange Program Final

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran advanced to the final match of the "Sport for Tomorrow Japan-Central Asia (U-15) Football Exchange Program" on Friday.

The Iranian outfit lost to Kyoto Sanga FC 2-1 and then beat Uzbekistan 3-0 and topped Group B with nine points.

Iran previously defeated Afghanistan and Japan in the tournament.

Iran will play Group A leader Tajikistan in the final match on Sunday.

"Sport for Tomorrow" is an international sports contribution program that the Japanese government runs between 2014 and 2020.

It is subjected for over 100 nations and 10 million people. Its main purposes are to convey the value of sports and expand the Olympic/Paralympic movement to all the generations.
