Naft Is Strong but We Have Chance to Advance: Pakhtakor Coach Babayan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Pakhtakor coach Samvel Babayan said that they know Naft Tehran is a strong team but all teams in Group B of the AFC Champions League still have a chance to advance to the knockout stage.
Pakhtakor will play Naft Tehran on Wednesday in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
“We are the youngest team in the current AFC Champions League competition and I hope that our players can show their potentials in the upcoming matches,” Babayan said in the pre-match news conference.
“The match will determine which team will advance to the next stage. We are fully ready for this match and I hope we get a good result against Pakhtakor,” the coach added.
“Naft is a strong team and they have won their previous two matches,” Babayan added.
