NASA Building Temporarily Evacuated over Cleaning Vapor

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A vapor cloud triggered by equipment cleaning caused a temporary evacuation of a building at NASA's Goddard Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland Friday.

A NASA official told Fox News a chemical reaction and a vapor cloud appeared during the cleaning of unspecified equipment and the building was briefly evacuated. However, the staff was back in place by early afternoon.

Earlier, there had been a report that part of the National Security Agency campus in Maryland was evacuated, but that proved untrue.

Anne Arundel News Network initially reported Friday that part of the campus was evacuated due to a suspicious odor. The post was later taken down.
