Mellat Cinematic Complex to Display Kiarostami’s ‘Certified Copy’
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - For the first time, Abbas Kiarostami’s ‘Copy as an Original’ is shown in special screening session at Mellat Cinematic complex here in Tehran on Saturday.
According to the public relations office of the 33rd Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF), ‘Certified Copy’ will have a special screening session as its first screening in Iran after holding roundtables and screenings of films which were made in the Kiarostami’s workshops.
The film, dubbed into Persian, will be screened in the movie halls which are allocated to Art and Experience section.
Before this film goes on show in Mellat Cinematic Complex, Kiarostami along with five of his students from different countries will talk about cinema with audience in a workshop.
The 33rd Fajr International Film Festival is underway in Tehran from April 25 to May 2, 2015. This is the first year that international section of FIFF is being held separately from national section.
