Iran Beats Kazakhstan in U-23 Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Kazakhstan 3-2 (25–20, 18–25, 25–19, 14–25, 15–13) in the 2015 Under-23 Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship on Sunday.
The Iranian team had defeated the Philippines 3-1 in its first match in the competition underway in Manila, the Philippines.
The Iranian team will play Chinese Taipei on Monday.
The Asian Under-23 Volleyball championship serves as the qualifying round for the 2015 FIVB Under-23 Volleyball World Championship in Ankara, Turkey.
