FINA World Water Polo Development: Iran Sweeps Indonesia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran topped Group B of the 5th FINA World Men’s Water Polo Development after defeating Indonesia.
The Iranian team earned a decisive 18-6 victory over Indonesia in Tehran’s Shiroudi Stadium on Tuesday.
Iran opened the competition with a 20-2 win over Guatemala on Monday.
“The game was a good opportunity for us to learn from Iran. We have participated in the tournament with a young team but Iran played with its best players," Indonesia coach Legawa said.
Host Iran will play Tunisia on Wednesday.
