It Was Our Worst Performance in Last Three Years : Iran Captain Marouf
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian national volleyball team captain Saeid Marouf criticized their performance against USA and considered that as the worst in the last three years.
Iran lost to USA 3-1 (25-16, 25-16, 20-25, 25-20) in Pool B match of the 2015 FIVB World League on Monday.
“We didn’t do anything on the court. It was our worst performance, I think, in the last two or three years,” Marouf said in the post match news conference.
“The other side, USA, played perfect volleyball at a high level."
"We must learn a lot from the USA team today,” he added.
