Iran Loses to Turkey in FIBA U-19 World Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran’s winless run continued on Wednesday as it was defeated against Turkey in the FIBA U-19 World Championship.
Iran lost to Turkey 73-63 in the Round of 16 in Heraklion, Greece.
It was Farzad Kouhian’s fourth successive defeat as the team has already lost to USA, Egypt and Croatia.
Turkey’s Okben Ulubay was the top scorer in the game with 16 points.
Navid Rezaeifar scored 14 points for the Iranian team.
