Iran Is a Top Team, Russia's Coach Klimkin Says
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Russia's coach Aleksandr Klimkin said that playing with Iran is difficult since it is a top team.
Russia will meet Iran on Friday and Saturday in Tehran's Azadi Stadium in pool B of the 2015 FIVB World League.
"Iran have emerged as one of the top teams in recent years. We know that it will (be a) difficult match for us considering the current condition of the team," Klimkin said in the pre-match news conference.
"I wish success for our team in these encounters. Iran might have the same wish but we must wait on the outcome on Friday.
"Maxim Mikhaylov is injured and he cannot be with the team here in Iran," Russia's interim coach added.
