Iran Captain Marouf Thanks Receivers
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian national volleyball team's captain Saeid Marouf praised the receivers who helped Team Melli to defeat Russia.
Iran swept past Russia in straight sets (25-21, 25-21, 25-21) in Pool B of the 2015 FIVB World League Friday night.
“This was one of our best matches. I am very thankful to the receivers of our team because they helped us so much,” Marouf said.
“Russia is usually good at serving; however, we showed some high-level reception and won,” he added.
