IRGC Commander Lauds Baqiyatallah University for Joining World’s Top List
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari congratulated the Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences for its success to secure a place in the list of the world’s top influential scientific centers.
In a message on Tuesday, the IRGC commander congratulated the Baqiyatallah University’s administrator, professors, researchers and staff on the scientific success.
Major General Jafari said the great success has been achieved despite “severe restrictions”.
A few days earlier, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei had praised young Iranian elite students for bringing glory to the country, noting that scientific successes help enhance the Islamic Republic's power.
In a meeting with a group of young Iranian medal winners at international scientific competitions in Tehran on July 26, the Leader described the achievement of top scientific titles as signifying the talents and scientific progress of the Islamic Revolution's youths.
"These signs and progresses are the very things that add to the country's internal power and might," Ayatollah Khamenei stated.
