TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Incoming ambassadors of three European countries of Hungary, the Netherlands and Ireland held separate meetings with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Tehran on Saturday.

The three diplomats also presented copies of their credentials to the Iranian foreign minister.

At the meeting with the Hungarian envoy, Yanosh Kovac, who is also able to speak in Persian language, Zarif referred to a visit to Iran by the Hungarian prime minister and said the two officials can contribute to further expansion of bilateral ties between the two countries.

Also at the meeting with Susana Trastal, Zarif expressed the hope that after Vienna nuclear agreement, Iran and the Netherlands would experience new opportunities for expansion of ties, especially in economic, environmental, and agricultural fields.

Ms. Trastal, too, said that the Netherlands is fully determined to open new chapter of proactive ties with Iran.

Zarif also had a meeting with non-residing ambassador of Ireland, Bernard Ward, during which the Iranian minister stressed further expansion of the two states' cooperation in regional and international fields.
