TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An adviser to Iran’s parliament speaker said that a Vietnamese parliamentary delegation will pay a visit to Tehran this Friday.

Hossein Sheikholeslam, the adviser of Iran’s parliament speaker on international affairs, told the Tasnim News Agency on Monday that a Vietnamese parliamentary delegation will arrive in Tehran on September 18 at the invitation of Hojatoleslam Sobhani-Nia, the head of Iran-Vietnam parliamentary friendship group.

According to the adviser, the Vietnamese lawmakers are planned to hold meetings with Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and MP Sobhani-Nia during their 7-day stay in Tehran.

Sheikholeslam also said that the delegation will leave Tehran for the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi on September 25.

Iran’s parliament has in recent months intensified measures to strengthen ties with parliaments of the other countries following the conclusion of nuclear talks between Tehran and six world powers.
