All US Attempts against Islamic Revolution Have Backfired: IRGC General

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – All US measures aimed at exerting an influence over the Islamic Revolution have backfired, the IRGC Navy commander underlined.

Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency on Saturday, Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi said all pre-emptive plots hatched by the US to make the Islamic Revolution passive have led to their own failure and passivity.

Americans suffered defeats in Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, because of their delusions about the Islamic Revolution, the commander added.

He also said that Iran’s clout has forced US officials to admit that they have failed to topple the Syrian government for more than 5 years because of Tehran’s support for Damascus.

Back in September, IRGC Lieutenant Commander Brigadier General Hossein Salami underscored that performance of the IRGC Quds Force Commander Major General Qassem Soleimani has put the enemy’s capacities in tatters, adding that Iran's defense capability has forced enemies to change behavior.

“We have been able to nullify the enemy’s military power and force them to change their manner,” the top commander noted.
