Beginning of Persian New Year in Imam Reza Shrine

MASHHAD (Tasnim) – Thousands of Iranian people on Sunday morning flocked to the holy shrine of the eighth Shiite Imam, Ali bin Musa al-Reza, in northeastern city of Mashhad to mark the beginning of New Iranian Year, which started at 8 a.m. (local time).
