AHVAZ (Tasnim) – An environmental initiative to combat dust pollution in Iran’s province of Khuzestan began with an operation to scatter mulch over 10,000 hectares of desert areas in Soosangerd county. Sand particles, carried by winds, cause serious problems in southwestern Iran every year.
