Iranian Ritual Theater “Ta'zieh” Held in Tehran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The municipality of Tehran held outdoor performances of ritual theaters at the Azadi (Liberty) Square of the capital. Categorized as a condolence theater or passion play, Ta'zieh is inspired by the tragic martyrdom of the third Shiite imam, Imam Hussein (AS).
