MASHHAD (Tasnim) – The holy shrine of the eighth Shiite Imam, Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (AS), in Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad was covered with black banners in commemoration of Muharram, the lunar month in which Imam Hussein (AS) was martyred.
