Iranian Air Force Successfully Overhauls Mirage Aircraft
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Air Force (IRIAF) successfully carried out the overhaul of two Mirage F-1 fighter aircraft.
Iranian technicians at Shahid Nasser Habibi Airbase accomplished the overhauling operation after nearly 45,000 man-hour of hard work.
The two fighter aircrafts made successful test flights after the overhaul and returned to service back in the air.
In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in the defense sector and gained self-sufficiency in essential military hardware and defense systems.
Tehran has repeatedly assured other nations, especially regional neighbors, that its military might poses no threat to other countries, stating that its defense doctrine is merely based on deterrence.
