Kazakh Navy Commander Visits Iranian Army Naval Academy

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Commander of Kazakhstan Navy General Zhandarbek Zhanzakov, who is in Iran for official visit, paid a visit to key naval academy of Iranian Army's Navy.
On Wednesday, Zhanzakov and Kazakh delegation visited Imam Khomeini University for Naval Sciences in Iran's Northern city of Noshahr.
Lieutenant Navy Commander for Coordination Rear Admiral Peyman Jafari Tehrani accompanied General Zhanzakov and his accompanying delegation during the visit.
The high-ranking Kazakh delegation visited the various parts of the university and were briefed about the academic methods for training the Iranian naval officers.
Navy commanders of Iran and Kazakhstan had earlier on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on defense cooperation.
The MoU was signed during a meeting between Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari and Zhanzakov in Tehran.
