Veterans from Persepolis, Milan to Hold Charity Match

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Veteran stars of Iranian favorite reds, the Persepolis, and Italian favorites AC Milan are going to play a friendly charity football game on November 28 in Tehran, according to the official website of Persepolis.

According to the arrangements for the game between the two teams concerned officials, the veteran stars of Milan and Persepolis will face each other in Tehran’s 100,000-seat Azadi Football Stadium on November 28.

The agreement between the two teams was reached in talks between their managing directors, Mohammad Rouyanian and Franco Barresi.

Two executive officials of Persepolis left Tehran for Milan on Wednesday to hold talks with FC Milan officials and finalize the matter.

Thus far the presence of such superstars of FC Milan as Sebastian Rossi, Paulo Maldini, Franco Barresi, Daniel Massaro, and a number of other FC Milan stars in the game has been finalized.
