We Have Difficult Task against Al Ain, Tractor Coach Says
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Tractor Sazi football team coach Toni Oliveira said that they have a tough match against Al Ain of the UAE in Group C of the AFC Champions League.
The Emirati giant will host Tractor Sazi of Iran at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Dubai on Tuesday.
Lekhwia of Qatar in the other match will play Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia in Doha.
“Our objective is to reach 10 points as quickly as possible and that would give us the opportunity to go beyond the group stage,” Toni Oliveira said in the pre-match news conference.
“This is a difficult match for us,” the Portuguese coach said.
“Al Ain has some outstanding players, particularly Omar Abdulrahman. They also won against Lekhwiya at their stadium,” the Portuguese added.
“If we win the match we will be glad. If we cannot get our favorite result for any reason, life goes on. No doubt, home games are easier than away games. Tractor Sazi will play two home games and we can be hopeful of them,” he concluded.
Tractor Sazi stays at top of the Group C with four points, followed by Al Ain (three points) and Al Ittihad (three points) and Lekhwia (one point).
