Syria: Terrorists Suffer Severe Blows in Several Areas

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Syrian Army continued directing smashing blows to terrorists and destroying their dens and criminal tools in several areas.

A military source said that the army units in Aleppo stormed terrorists' dens and gatherings in the area surrounding the cenetral prison, industrial area, Handarat, al-Breij, al-Jandoul, Hanano, Ba'ideen and al-Mansour roundabouts, Abten, al-Layramoun, Azan, al-Haydarieh, Kfar Hamra, al-Sheikh Said, Andan, Anjara, Sharba, Babis, Kwaires, Arbid and al-Jadeda, killing scores of them, in addition to destroying their cars which were equipped with heavy machineguns.

A unit of the armed forces targeted terrorists' gatherings in Kfar Rouma, Saraqib and Qmeinas, killing and injuring scores of them, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition, Al-Manar reported.

In Homs countryside, a military source told SANA reporter that the army units eliminated a numbers of terrorists tried to attack a number of military checkpoints in al-S'en, Swais, al-Meshrfehm and al-Kum.

The terrorists' gatherings and dens in al-Mashjar al-Janoubi and Talbessieh were also destroyed where a number of terrorists killed and injured.

In Daraa countryside, an army unit destroyed several vehicles with all terrorists and weapons inside them on the road of Tssiel-Sahm al-Golan in Daraa western countryside.

Another terrorist group tried to infiltrate from Tssiel village into Nawa was targeted.

Army units also targeting terrorists' gatherings in samlin and the area around al-Hijja and Jadal villages, eliminating a number of terrorists and destroyed their criminal tools.

In Lattakia, a military source said that army units foiled terrorist groups' infiltration attempts from Turkish territories to attack some border crossings in Lattakia' s northern countryside.

The source added that 17 members of the terrorist groups were killed including the so-called Amir of Jabhat al-Nusra front in Lattakia' s northern countryside and a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns were destroyed.
