Iranian Duo Win Gold Medals in Taekwondo German Open
TEHRAN (Tasnim)– Yousef Karami and Mohammad Bagheri Motamed claimed two gold medals in the Taekwondo German Open in Hamburg, Germany.
In -68kg category, Bagheri Motamed, who won a silver medal in the 2012 Olympic Games, beat Spaniard Ruben Martinez Garcia 14-4 in the final and won the gold medal.
In the -87kg weight category, Yousef Karami defeated Canadian Marc-André Bergeron 5-3 to win the gold.
Around 900 athletes from 62 nations are participating in the competitions in Hamburg.
