Syrian Army Hunts More Terrorists’ Dens in Idlib, Daraa, Aleppo

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Syrian army units and national defense forces launched successful operations against the foreign-backed militants across the country, killing and injuring huge numbers of terrorists and destroying their hideouts, gatherings and ordnance gear, local media report said.

In Idlib province, a den for gunmen was destroyed in Jabal al-Zawyeh area in the countryside. A warehouse including a huge amount of pamphlets and documents sent to the terrorist groups from Saudi Arabia was also destroyed.

Scores of gunmen were killed and others were injured in the areas of Kafr Nubul, Kafr Jales, Babila, Taftanaz, Beslia and al-Hamdiyeh in the countryside. The terrorists' weapons and equipment were destroyed.

In Daraa, army units clashed with an armed terrorist group, comprising 25 terrorists, in Tal al-Mahs area and killed and injured most of its members.

A military source told SANA that the national military targeted armed mercenaries in the areas of al-Hara al-Gharbyeh, Nawa, al-Yadouda-Tafas road, Um al-Owsaj-Jasem road, Mleihat al-Atash and Otman in Daraa countryside, killing scores of terrorists and destroying 5 vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition.

An army unit also killed a number of terrorists near the mosques of Bilal al-Habashi, al-Hmaza and al-Khalil and in the areas of Khazzan al-Karak and Wadi al-Zeidi.

The army also killed many terrorists in the areas of Kaheel, Aqraba, Nawa-al-Sheikh Said road and al-Masri roundabout.

An army unit targeted an armed terrorist group in the farms of Tebneh in the countryside, leaving its members dead and wounded, while another unit targeted an armed terrorist group in the Tebneh farms, leaving its members dead and wounded as well.

In Aleppo, military source told SANA that army units eliminated a number of terrorists in Alleramon, al-Zahraa association and to the north of Azizeh village and destroyed their weapons and ammunition.
