Iranian Weightlifter Valipour Banned Two Years for Doping
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian youth weightlifter Ramin Valipour has been suspended for two years for his anti-doping rule violation.
Valipour seized a silver medal in the 16th Asian Youth Weightlifting Championship, which was held in Bangsaen, Thailand in March.
He lifted 136kg in snatch, 155kg in clean and jerk and 291kg in total lift.
Ramin Valipour tested positive for metenolone.
