World Cup 2014: Russia 1-1 South Korea
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Russia and South Korea football teams shared the points in Group H of the 2014 World Cup at the Arena Pantana in Cuiaba.
Keun-Ho Lee put the Korean in a lead in the 68th minute but six minutes later Alexandr Kerzhakov equalized the match.
South Korean midfielder Son Heung-Min was elected Man of the Match.
“It was a good game, they ran a lot in the first half, but then they were tired. The goal they scored, it was not easy. But the reaction from the players was really good. This is really important for me, the reaction, and we had chances to score the second goal,” Fabio Capello said in the post match news conference.
Belgium also defeated Algeria 2-1 in the group.
South Korea will play Algeria on June 22 and Belgium face Russia in the same day.
