World Cup 2014: Colombia Sends Uruguay Home
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Colombia national football team defeated Uruguay thanks to a brace from James Rodriguez on Sunday.
The Colombian football team advanced to the World Cup quarter-final for the first time.
Rodriguez was on target in the 28th minute with a superb left-footed strike.
The Colombian prodigy extended the lead in the 50th minute.
Colombia will play Brazil in the quarterfinals in Fortaleza on Friday. The host nation defeated Chile on penalties after a 1-1 tie in Belo Horizonte.
