Iran's Alireza Faghani Assigned to France-Nigeria Fourth Official
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran’s Alireza Faghani has been selected as the fourth official for the World Cup round of 16 match between France and Nigeria.
On Saturday, FIFA announced that American referee Mark Geiger will be in charge of the France-Nigeria match taking place on Monday. Fellow American Sean Hurd and Canadian Joe Fletcher will act as assistant referees.
Faghani had already been assigned as the fourth official for the Brazil – Croatia, Colombia – Greece, England – Uruguay and South Korea – Algeria matches.
