DPR Korea Edges Iran at AFC U-14 Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran has a hard task to book a place in the AFC U-14 Championship next stage after being defeated by DPR Korea.
In the match played in front of host nation’s supporters at the Hajbabaei Stadium in Iran's westerm city of Hamedan, captain Kim Pom-hyok scored in the 6th minute with a long range shot.
The Korean team qualified for the next stage as the first team.
Timor Leste also defeated Saudi Arabia 2-1 in the group.
Iran, who had already defeated Timor Leste 4-1 in its opening match in Group A, will face Saudi Arabia on Friday.
Timor Leste will also play DPR Korea.
