Hamed Haddadi to Join Chinese Club Qingdao Double Star

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian iconic basketball player Hamed Haddadi will join Chinese basketball club Qingdao Double Star.

Qingdao Double Star reached an agreement in principle with Iranian center Hamed Haddadi, sportando.com reported.

The Iranian Big Man will play in Chinese Basketball Association next season too.

Last season he averaged 14.2 points and 13.3 rebounds per game, playing with Sichuan Blue Whales.

Haddadi was part of the Iranian basketball team in the 2014 FIBA World Cup, where the Memi Becirovic’s team finished 17th out of 20 teams.

The Former Memphis Grizzlies and  Phoenix Suns center averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds per game in the prestigious event.

Haddadi has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
