She made the comments in a meeting with a delegation of Iranian lawmakers who have travelled to Dhaka to attend a three-day seminar on "Ending the cycle of violence against girls in Asia-Pacific."
During the meeting, Moussa Ghazanfarabadi, a member of the Iranian team, touched on the historical and spiritual commonalities between Iran and Bangladesh, expressing the hope for the enhancement of relations between the two Asian nations in various fields.
He further hailed the Bangladeshi parliament’s innovation in holding the seminar.
The conference is being jointly organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Parliament of Bangladesh.
