Iran Basketball Team Rallies Past Mongolia in Asiad

Mohammad Jamshidi led Iran with 20 points at the Hwaseong Sports Complex Gymnasium.
“It was an easy game and we easily defeated Mongolia. We rested our main players for the tomorrow match against China,” Iran coach Memi Becirovic said.
Iran has been scheduled to meet China in Group G at the Samsan World Gymnasium on Sunday.
Some 9,500 athletes from 45 countries are competing at the Games, the world's second-biggest multi-sport event after the summer Olympics, with 439 gold medals in 36 sports up for grabs.
Iran has participated in the games with 276 athletes in 22 sports.
