Persepolis, Real Madrid Friendly Cancelled
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The friendly match between Tehran popular football team, Persepolis, and Real Madrid, slated for the summer, has been called off.
The football match has been cancelled due to political reasons.
Persepolis officials had a meeting with Real Madrid directors on Thursday in the Spanish club, in which two clubs reached an agreement for a friendly match in Tehran.
Persepolis CEO Hamidreza Siasi said that the friendly was cancelled.
