Opening Ceremony of 2nd Asian Para Games Held in Incheon
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The opening ceremony of the second edition of the Asian Para Games was held at the Munhak Stadium in Incheon, South Korea on Saturday evening.
Olympic gold medalist Jalil Bagheri carried Iran’s flag in the ceremony.
Dato' Zainal Abu Zarin, President of Asian Paralympic Committee, welcomed the disabled athletes to the Asian Para Games.
The 2014 Asian Para Games have been scheduled for October 18 to 24 in Incheon, South Korea.
The games will feature around 5,000 athletes competing across 23 sports.
