In a telephone conversation, Zhang said Chinese Premier Li Keqiang paid a successful visit to Russia not long ago and attended the 19th China-Russia Prime Ministers' Regular Meeting, which promoted the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination between the two countries.

He expressed the hope that the two countries will earnestly implement the consensus reached by leaders of the two sides on expanding cooperation in energy and other fields, so as to prepare for a meeting between their heads of state on the sidelines of an informal leaders' meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Beijing next month.

Dvorkovich said that China is a trustworthy energy cooperation partner of Russia and that his country is ready to work with China to expand bilateral energy cooperation, especially coal trade.

The two senior officials, who co-chair the China-Russia Energy Cooperation Committee, also exchanged views on specific fields of energy cooperation.
