Naft Beats IPL Leader Tractor, Sepahan Held
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Naft of Tehran football team defeated Iran Professional League (IPL) leader Tractor Sazi of Tabriz on Friday.
Naft beat Tractor 2-1 in Tehran’s takhti Stadium.
Before the kick-off, two teams observed one minute of silence in remembrance of the Iran former striker Gholamhossein Mazloumi.
Naft striker Gholamreza Rezaei scored twice in the 43rd and 56th minutes and Ditmar Bicaj scored for Tractor just before the interval.
Elsewhere, Sepahan of Isfahan drew with Saipa 2-2- and Paykan was held to a 1-1 draw against Esteghlal of Khuzestan.
