Pointing to the recent visit of a high-ranking Hamas delegation to Tehran, Osama Hamdan, the head of Hamas movement’s foreign relations, considered the purpose behind the visit as strengthening the ties between the two parties.
“The (Hamas) movement has realized the goals sought in the visit,” Hamdan announced.
He said the latest developments in Palestine and the strengthening of the role of Muslim nations in supporting Palestinians were among the issues discussed during the visit.
Last week, a high-ranking delegation from the Hamas movement visited Tehran.
During the visit, the head of the delegation expressed the movement’s eagerness to enhance ties with Iran.
