Italian Setter Vermiglio Joins Shahrdari Oroumiyeh
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Valerio Vermiglio reached an agreement with Shahrdari Oroumiyeh volleyball team to join the Iranian team.
The 39-year-old Italian setter is expected to replace Saeid Marouf, who joined Russia's Zenit Kazan last week.
Vermiglio is an Italian volleyball player, who was a member of the Italian men's national team, which won the silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.
He has also played in Copra Piacenza, Sisley Treviso, Lube Banca Marche Macerata, Zenit Kazan, Fakel Novy Urengoy.
