Muslims Have Faith in Ayatollah Khamenei’s Leadership: Hezbollah Official

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Deputy Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Movement highlighted Muslims’ trust in the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei.

“We in the Islamic world have faith in the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei and his correct policies,” Sheikh Naim Qassem said in a forum on unity of Islamic parties held in Tehran by Iran’s Islamic Coalition Party.

He added the moving on the path (of these policies) will benefit the Islamic world.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Sheikh Qassem, expressed the hope that Muslim countries’ political parties can play an active role in the enhancement of Islamic unity.

The forum was held on the sidelines of the 28th International Islamic Unity Conference that opened in Tehran Wednesday.

Sunni and Shiite scholars and intellectuals from more than 60 countries are attending the conference titled Unified Islamic Ummah: Challenges and Strategies.

The participants are scheduled to discuss ways to promote unity and solidarity in the Muslim world and will focus on problems facing the Islamic world, such as the threat posed by the Takfiri militants.
